My name is Rodney, a new MateKeeper who as recent as 15 months ago moved to the Gundagai area. Previously, I was in the Illawarra region caring for my wife over the last twenty plus years. In that time in the ​Illawarra, I was in need of a couple of hours respite and was able to organise someone to look after my wife while I went for a ride - Motorcycle riding is my therapy.

It wasn't long before I came across several other bikers who were carers in some capacity, so we formed the Caring-4-Carers. This was a small group who became great mates as we toured the local sights and shared many a coffee and pie.

I am asking for expressions of interest to commence the same kind of ride here in this part of the Riverina. Getting in on the ground level means a discussion on when we can ride and how often. In the Illawarra, every Monday morning (which often turned into the whole day) worked. Here in the Riverina, it will be different.
